This notice explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who can see it, how long we keep it, and what you can do about any of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it in plain language.
Who we are
Coach T’s Corner® operates this website. Coach T’s Corner® is the brand and online academy of Antwaun Thompson, known as Coach T®.
JLT Fieldhouse, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded by Coach T® in honor of his late father, Sergeant Major Joe Lewis Thompson. Beyond the Classroom is a program of JLT Fieldhouse, Inc.
That distinction matters for one reason. For anything relating to Beyond the Classroom, including every student and every family enrolled in it, JLT Fieldhouse, Inc. is the organization that collects, holds, and is responsible for that information. The enrollment pages sit on this website. The responsibility sits with the nonprofit.

Our commitments
These are not aspirations. They are the terms we operate under and the terms we put in every agreement we sign.
We collect the least we need. We ask for the smallest amount of information that lets a program run and lets a parent stay informed. Where a first name and a last initial will do, we do not ask for a full legal name.
We never sell information about a student or a family. Not to anyone, at any price, under any structure. This is not a policy that changes with a new business model.
We never use student information for advertising, for profiling, or to train artificial intelligence systems. A student’s reflection is not raw material. It belongs to the student.
We delete on a published schedule. Nothing is kept forever. The schedule is below, it names a deletion point for every category, and you can ask us to delete sooner.
Every adult who touches student information is screened, trained, and accountable. Background screening, a signed confidentiality acknowledgment, and a written code of conduct are conditions of access, not paperwork we get to later.
What we collect, and why
When you join a waitlist or an email list. Your name, your email address, and where relevant the grade or age range of your child. We use it to tell you when enrollment opens and to send program updates. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
When you contact us or submit a form. Whatever you choose to tell us, so that we can answer you.
When you enroll a student in Beyond the Classroom. The enrolling parent or guardian’s name, email address, phone number, and billing address. The student’s first name, last initial, grade, and track. We use it to create the account, process payment, and place the student in the right cohort.
When a school or organization enrolls a group. A roster from that partner, limited to first name, last initial or an identifier the partner assigns, grade, and track.
During the program. Attendance, responses to the pre and post program assessments, and, during live virtual sessions, a display name, audio, video, and chat. Some live sessions are recorded. Where a session is recorded, we say so in advance.
When you purchase, subscribe, or create an account. Information needed to complete the transaction and give you access. We do not store card numbers. Our payment processor holds them.
Automatically, when you visit. Standard website and analytics information such as pages viewed and general location. We do not use advertising networks that build profiles across other websites.
What we do not collect
The Student Workbook and Reflection Journal belongs to the student. We do not collect it, we do not upload it, and we do not read it. What a student shares in a live session is what that student chooses to say out loud. This is a deliberate design decision, and it will not change.
Children’s privacy
Beyond the Classroom serves students in grades 6 through 12, which means part of our audience is under the age of 13. We take that seriously and we build around it.
We ask a parent first
Before we collect anything from a student under 13 who is enrolling directly with us, we give the parent or guardian a direct notice explaining exactly what we will collect and why, and we obtain that parent’s verifiable consent.
Students enrolled through a school
Where a school or district enrolls a cohort, the school directs the collection and provides the authorization, and we operate only within the scope the school sets. Where we receive information from education records, the school designates us as a school official with a legitimate educational interest, and we use that information only for the purpose it was provided and do not pass it on.
Consent is never bundled
A parent can agree to the program and decline photographs. A parent can agree to the program and decline any sharing with a partner organization. Declining an optional permission has no effect at all on a student’s enrollment, cohort, access, or standing.
Parents can always
- Ask to review everything we hold about their child
- Ask us to delete it
- Tell us to stop collecting anything further, understanding that this ends participation
- Withdraw any optional permission previously given
Write to coacht@coachtscorner.com. We acknowledge within 5 business days and complete within 30 calendar days. If we need longer, we tell you before the 30 days are up and we give you a date. Where a student is enrolled through a school, we forward the request to that school, tell you where it went, and help them answer you.
How long we keep information
This schedule takes effect October 1, 2026, and governs information held on and after that date. Nothing is retained indefinitely.

Who else sees information, and why
We use outside service providers to run our programs and this website. Each one receives only what it needs to do its part, and each is required to protect it. By category, they are:
- Website hosting
- Membership and course platform
- Email and newsletter delivery
- Video conferencing for live sessions
- Payment processing
- Cloud file storage
- Electronic signature
- Website analytics
We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or any service that builds profiles across other websites.
What we never do
We never sell student or family information. We never use it for targeted advertising. We never use it to build a profile of a student for any purpose unrelated to the program. We never use it to develop or train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems. We never disclose it to another organization without separate, specific, unbundled parental consent, and for a student enrolled through a school, without that school’s written approval as well.
How we protect information
We maintain a written information security program with named personnel responsible for it, an annual risk assessment, documented safeguards, and regular testing. In practice that means unique logins for every person with access, multifactor authentication wherever a system supports it, access limited to the people who need it, encrypted connections, and a rule that student information never travels through personal email, personal messaging, or personal social media accounts.
No organization can promise that nothing will ever go wrong. What we can promise is that we have a written plan for that day, that partners are notified within 72 hours of a confirmed incident, and that families are told promptly and in plain language.
Your choices
- Email. Unsubscribe from any message we send.
- Cookies. Your browser can block or delete them. Some parts of the site may not work as well.
- Access, correction, deletion. Write to coacht@coachtscorner.com.
- Do Not Track. We do not track you across other websites, so there is nothing to honor.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice we will update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we handle student information, we will tell enrolled families directly rather than relying on you to notice.
